The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr. Jean Asselborn, who is on a working visit in Poland, met with representatives of the Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce who are also Honorary Consuls of Luxembourg in Poland.
The talks concerned the development of Polish-Luxembourg economic relations in the nearest years. Minister Asselborn got acquainted with the plans of the Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the activities undertaken by the Honorary Consulates in Poland.
The Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce was represented by Mr. Krzysztof Bramorski, Luxembourg Consul in Wrocław, President of the PLIG Board of Directors; Mr. Paweł Kuraszkiewicz, Luxembourg Consul in Poznań, Vice President of the PLIG Board of Directors; Mr. Szymon Malecki, Luxembourg Consul in Kraków, Treasurer of the Chamber.
The meeting was also attended by H.E. Mr. Conrad Bruch, Luxembourg Ambassador in Warsaw and other Luxembourg Consuls in Poland – Mr. Wojciech Wolf, Consul in Łódź; Mr. Adam Byglewski, Consul in Białystok; Mr. Mikołaj Pluciński, Consul in Katowice.
Luxembourg remains the third largest foreign investor in Poland and the number of Luxembourg enterprises in Poland is constantly growing. There is a great interest in partnership with Polish entrepreneurs in such fields as logistics, environmental technologies or the use of space resources.
