The Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce has become a partner of the concert which will take place on March 18, 2024.
The partnership includes a symphony concert by the outstanding Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, which consists of 99 musicians from 20 countries and will be conducted by the rising star of conducting – Gustav Gimeno.
The concert will feature Beatrice Rana – an extremely talented Italian pianist who has performed on the most important music stages around the world, including: Carnegie Hall in New York, Royal Albert Hall in London and Konzerthaus in Vienna.
⭐️ Gustavo Gimeno – is the artistic director of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and from the 2025/2026 season he will take over the musical management of the Teatro Real in Madrid. Thanks to his numerous journeys, he has gained experience in performing various works, and the best proof of this is his extensive discography – from Gioacchino Rossini to César Franck and Francisco Coll. As a conductor, he performs as a guest all over the world, and this season he will also collaborate with, among others, with the San Francisco Symphony and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
⭐️ Beatrice Rana – is an extremely talented Italian pianist, as evidenced by, among others, numerous awards and statuettes won at international piano competitions. The Times magazine described her playing as: “intelligent reading and transcendent lightness of touch”. She has performed on the most important and famous music stages around the world, e.g. at Carnegie Hall in New York, Royal Albert Hall in London, Konzerthaus in Vienna. She collaborated with many outstanding conductors such as: Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Jaap van Zweden and Antonio Pappano
